Nike celebrates the Air Max 1 and its 35 years of excellence on Air Max Day. Going back to the model that started it all, 03.26 will once again be all about the Air Max 1.
As reported months ago, Nike has plans for the Air Max 1 with a handful of colorways and collaborations, including the Concepts x Nike Air Max 1 trio.
As Air Max Day looms, a new colorway of the Air Max 1 has surfaced. Inspired by Paris, France, the upcoming Nike Air Max 1 “City of Light” aka Nike Air Max 1 “La Ville Lumière” will headline the part of this year’s Air Max Day collection.
The “City of Light” Air Max 1 is built with a white mesh base and iridescent overlays, capturing the city’s essence. Other details such as “La Ville-Lumière,” “Printemps 2022,” “03.26” lettering on the insoles, translucent outsole, and tissue paper. The pair also includes dark navy tongues with the iconic “03.26” date and small Air Max-themed charms.
The Nike Air Max 1 “City of Light” releases for $150 exclusively in Europe on Air Max Day (03.26) in women’s sizing.
