The Nike Air Max 90 was relatively dormant in 2021. After its 30th anniversary in 2020, the AM90 hasn’t been seen extensively compared to other Air Max models. However, the next time we do see the Air Max 90, we’ll also see a $10 increase on its ticket.
With the Air Force 1 increasing from $90 to $100 and the Air Max 97 increasing from $170 to $175, the AM90 will also increase. The Air Max 90 will now retail for $130 instead of its former $120 ticket. Collabs and OG releases will more than likely be more expensive as well. For reference, the 2020 Air Max 90 OG “Infrared” and the 2021 Air Max 90 “Bacon” retailed for $140.
As Forbes reported last fall, supply chain issues, factory closures, labor shortage, and more have culminated in the increase among these shoes and others.
The Air Jordan 11 “Cool Grey” retailed for $225 in December when the 2020 and 2019 Holiday Air Jordan 11s retailed for $220. Jordan retros for Spring & Fall will also see a $10 increase. Though, the Air Jordan 1 will remain untouched as the shoe rose from $160 to its current $170 price a few years ago.
