As is tradition with previous Air Max Days, this month’s event will be marked by the introduction of an all-new Air-equipped silhouette. Dubbed the Nike Air Max Pre-Day, this low-top runner boasts a 100% recycled polyester upper and a ~13% Nike Grind Rubber outsole. Nike Grind is created from scrap rubber from Nike factory production lines. The shoe also utilizes the same heel-based Air bag found on the AM1, AM90, and Jordans 3 – 6 but exposes the piece completely, rather than through a window. The placement of the Air bag been also been engineered so as to allow for a different on-foot sensation with further propulsion for runners.
