Nike Basketball Unveils Sustainable Cosmic Unity Sneaker

(Update – February 3rd, 2020): The Nike Cosmic Unity will debut on February 26th, 2020 in the “Green Glow” colorway for $150 USD. The shoe is constructed out of at least 25% recycled materials and marks the first sustainable performance sneaker from Nike. Learn more about the shoe’s design here.

Official photos have now arrived of an all-new performance sneaker from the folks at Nike Basketball. Dubbed the Nike Cosmic Unity, the shoe was first seen in the wild on Los Angeles Laker Anthony Davis back in December 2020. Pictured below in the “Green Glow” colorway, the Nike Cosmic Unity sports, most notably, a bulbous midsole that attaches seamlessly to the enlarged heelcup. A thick, woven upper in intricate patterning is teamed up alongside a rainbow speckled set of laces. The Nike Cosmic Unity “Green Glow” will retail for $150 USD and is set to arrive later this year.
