The Nike LeBron 8 originally released for the 2010-2011 NBA season as The King took his talents to the Miami Heat. The rest was history. From a footwear standpoint, LeBron James’ time with the Heat sparked innovations like never before.
Jason Petrie, the man responsible for the evolution of the LeBron line, brought the tech and heat to the 305 with the Nike LeBron 8 “South Beach” that continues to be one of the most influential colorways we’ve seen from the Swoosh. Not only was the pair groundbreaking its “Pre-Heat” colorway, but the shoe’s overall implementation of Flywire, the Max Air 360 Unit, the X Flex on the bottom of the heel, and more made the shoe an absolute beast.
The colorway, in line with Nike’s retro series of the LeBron 8, is coming soon as official images of the teal, fluorescent pink, and black iteration of the Nike LeBron 8 have surfaced.
The re-release of the Nike LeBron 8 “South Beach” has been delayed to July 21. The classic returns on SNKRS and select retailers. As always, our monitors and release day strategy will have members prepared for release day.
