The Tokyo Olympics are upon us. After the trials and tribulations that led up to the event, Nike has announced its “Rawdacious” collection that represents new beginnings with the use of warm tones and the blurred Swoosh that signifies a launch into the moment.
The collection includes the Air Zoom Alphafly NEXT%, the ZoomX Vaporfly NEXT% 2, the Air Zoom Pegasus 38, and its FlyEase version. To accompany the Parra x Nike SB Federation Kits, Nike SB’s offerings include Nyjah Huston‘s SB Nyjah Free 2, the SB Janoski Slip-On, and the SB Bruin.
“Color has the nuanced ability to invite both reaction and reflection at once,” Martha Moore, Nike VP, Central Color Product Design said. “You see a color, and you immediately react in a certain way. Color can also open the door to history, connections to other disciplines, and to memory. In creating this year’s palette, we worked to consider color holistically to best represent a moment in time.”
The Nike “Rawdacious” collection will release on Nike.com and select retailers throughout the summer. As always, our sneaker monitors and release day strategy will have members ready for the drop.
