Virgil Abloh and Nike continue their longstanding partnership. OFF-WHITE and the cultural giant that is Jordan Brand will meet once again — this time on the Air Jordan 2 Low in two different colorways. After applying his Midas touch to the Air Jordan 1, 4, and 5, Abloh is now taking on the Air Jordan 2 Low.
The Air Jordan 2, especially the Low, hasn’t seen much energy as of late from the brand and its collaborators since Don C and his co-creations with the Jumpman. The upcoming OFF-WHITE x Air Jordan 2 Low collection looks to change the narrative for the AJ2 Low and resurrect it from its dormant state. As history has taught us, low-tops are prime real estate for Jordan Brand.
The OFF-WHITE x Air Jordan 2 Low carries signature elements from the OFF-WHITE playbook as a zip-tie on the eyelets, the exposed foam tongue, and OFF-WHITE x Nike branding on the medial side of the shoe all land on the upcoming pair. New elements such as Michael Jordan’s signature on the lateral side of the shoe and a cracked midsole application appear. With an all-black upper paired with a royal blue accent, the OFF-WHITE x AJ2 Low is set for flight.
The OFF-WHITE x Air Jordan 2 Low in black and varsity royal releases on November 12 for $250 on SNKRS and select retailers. As always, our sneaker monitors and release day strategy will have members ready for drop day.
