PUMA is making strides on the basketball court and in the lifestyle space. Now, PUMA is reaching back into the 2000s with an all-new silhouette inspired by running shoes from the greatest decade in history. The PUMA VELOPHASIS draws from the PUMA Complete line, one of the seminal running lines of the era infused with game-changing tech for the time. The line features two silhouettes, including the VELOPHASIS Bionic and the VELOPHASIS Phased.
The Phased includes the most inspiration from the Complete line with its asymmetrical upper, mesh base, textured overlays, and, most importantly, the chunky outsole. The Bionic is similar to the Phased in structure but offers some enhancements in cushioning.
The Phased line features colorways inspired by the Vaporwave movement and internet culture, while the initial colorway of the Bionic includes a metallic cream look giving it a more contemporary look. The PUMA VELOPHASIS Bionic ($150) will be available on February 4 while the VELOPHASIS Phased ($130) will be available on February 11. Both VELOPHASIS styles will be available on PUMA.com, the PUMA mobile app and at select retailers.
