Reebok’s place in sports history cannot be understated. The England-founded and now Boston-based brand was a staple across team sports in the 90s and 2000s, outfitting Hall Of Fame athletes like Emmitt Smith, Allen Iverson, and Shaquille Oneal. After having the official uniform licenses for the NFL and NBA, Reebok as a brand went in another direction and changed ownership multiple times. Now, the brand is ready to reclaim its spot in team sports, and Chicago Bears quarterback Justin Fields is the first major signing.
Fields is entering his third season in the NFL and previously wore adidas. On top of representing Reebok on the gridiron, Fields will help launch the FloatZig 1 running shoe. The new partnership also includes charitable efforts, including working together on the brand’s Human Rights Now! platform and the Justin Fields Youth Camp.
