Just last month, Reebok declared its return to team sports by signing Chicago Bears quarterback Justin Fields. Since then, the brand has stuck to its word with product releases and executive decisions like appointing Shaquille O’Neal and Allen Iverson as President and Vice President of Basketball. The Hall of Famers players’ duo just signed their first athlete by bringing LSU’s Angel Reese into the Reebok family.
The All-American forward earned the Most Outstanding Player Award on the way to leading LSU to a National Championship last season. Reese has earned more than just basketball hardware during her rise to fame. Nicknamed “Bayou Barbie,” Reese is one of the highest-paid NIL athletes in women’s sports and just as influential off the hardwood. Reese works as a model and has worked on NIL deals with Amazon, Bose, Coach, Discord, Outback Steakhouse, Sonic, TurboTax, Wingstop, Xfinity, and more. All eyes will be on Reese and LSU this season as they look to repeat, and for the first time in a long time, Reebok sneakers will be at the center of it all.
