Rick Owens, Converse Unveil The DRKSHDW TURBODRK Chuck 70

Rick Owens, known for his reinterpretation of classics, reworks the Converse Chuck Taylor All Star. Following the previous DRKSHDW creations, the all-new TURBODRK is a continuation of Owens’ vision with the help of Converse’s legacy.

The high-top in black and low-top in white extend the tongue and squares off the toe to create a complete overhaul of a classic.

“When I think of Converse, I think of the black and white Chuck Taylors and the punk rock generation. These have always been iconic pillars of my aesthetic,” Rick Owens said. “Wearing Chuck Taylors, you align yourself with a generation that was experimental. There is a confident dynamic to the subculture.”

The DRKSHDW x Converse TURBODRK Chuck 70 releases on July 27 at converse.com, RickOwens.eu, Rick Owens shops, and select retailers. As always, our sneaker monitors and release day strategy will have members ready for drop day.
