As END. continues its year-long 20th anniversary celebrations, the global retailer strengthens its enduring partnership with Saucony, unveiling a brand-new collaboration inspired by one of the world’s oldest and most symbolic natural treasures: the olive tree.
Following on from last year’s acclaimed “Nessie” project, END. and Saucony once again join forces to reimagine archival silhouettes, this time drawing on the rich heritage and timeless symbolism of the olive, a fruit that has nourished civilizations for millennia and continues to embody ideas of peace, endurance, and vitality.
The collaboration introduces two distinctive sneakers: the ProGrid Omni 9 and the Shadow 6000, each transformed with a refined palette of olive tones and bright white that echo the natural beauty of the olive tree’s leaves, fruit, and bark.
The ProGrid Omni 9 takes a modernist approach, pairing its early-2000s running DNA with a tonal white base punctuated by olive-green accents across the outsole, tongue, heel, and sidewall branding. A subtle yet striking embroidered olive branch motif adorns the inner side wall, while textured mesh panels complete the shoe with a tactile nod to Saucony’s performance heritage.
The Shadow 6000 leans into retro styling, with hairy and smooth suede panels in deep olive green that is balanced by clean white midsoles and laces. The collaboration’s olive branch emblem once again features on the inner side wall, while understated END. branding at the keeper loop offers a minimal yet considered finishing touch.
Long revered as one of the first cultivated trees on Earth, the olive has stood as a universal symbol of resilience, wellness, and connection across cultures.
