With Sean Wotherspoon’s highly successful Nike Air Max 1/97 taking the world by storm two years ago, the vintage fashion curator turned designer returns to footwear design once again. Having been let go from his Nike contract recently, Wotherspoon has instead teamed with adidas on a new silhouette entitled the”SUPEREARTH”.
The latest look at the sneaker shows off the model’s cork insole and a two-toned white/power blue upper with abstract embroidery along the medial side.
Furthermore, the adidas SUPEREARTH will purportedly be constructed from plant-based materials in efforts to further promote sustainability in fashion. Wotherspoon is a vocal vegan and advocate for a plant-based lifestyle so the environemtalism themes being teased in the SUPEREARTH come as no surprise.
