Nonprofit organization Skate Like a Girl, which focuses on empowering individuals especially young women and trans people to become leaders who promote equality through the power of skateboarding is joining forces with Nike for an SB Dunk Low collaboration.
The upcoming joint effort features a suede base in an off-white coloration with maroon overlays also crafted of suede. Corduroy details appear on the sneaker’s tongue, sockliner, and bright red Swooshes. Skate Like a Girl branding appears on the tongue, insole, lace tips, and its handshake logo appears on the heel underneath the wavy “Nike” branding embroidered on the heel.
An exposed foam tongue and rubber gum outsole finish the look.
The Skate Like a Girl x Nike SB Dunk Low is set to be released on October 15 at local skate shops and a wider SNKRS release is set for October 17. The retail price has been set at $130.
