Steph Curry’s Record-Breaking Curry 9s Headline NFT Collection

Stephen Curry made history last week in MSG, claiming the 3-point throne as the Warriors guard surpassed Ray Allen to become the league’s 3 point record holder. The Curry Brand cemented the moment with an NFT collection inspired by the sneakers he wore when breaking the record.

The Curry Flow 9 was minted into 2,974 NFTs commemorating the record braking night as the sneaker were made available to purchase. Each NFT was priced at $333, with 100% of the NFT profits going toward’s Curry’s  “Eat. Learn. Play,” a foundation that he and his wife, Ayesha Curry, established in 2019.

The 2,974 NFTS were broken up in five different iterations:

• The Lab (1,389 shoes)
  • 2974 was never the goal. Greatness is in the work, the sacrifice, the faith, the joy that leads to mastery

• Warp (788 shoes)

  • The engineer of movement, defying gravity, and always holding it down for The Town.

• Flow (470 shoes)

  • It’s the ingredients inside; strength, character, focus that flows to the magic outside and changes the game for good.

• Broken History (297 shoes)

  • They said 2973 was written in stone. But records are meant to be broken.

• Unanimous (30 shoes)

  Many are called, few are chosen but only one changed the game for good.

Although all of the NFTs have been claimed, we anticipate Curry and the Curry Brand to continue to bring one-of-a-kind opportunities into the Metaverse.
