No, you aren’t stuck in some time vacuum.
The beloved Bred One received the 85′ treatment on Valentine’s Day this year. With its esteem and legacy, it was no surprise that it was among the most difficult releases of 2025. Now, though, it appears Jordan Brand will be giving sneaker heads another chance to purchase this iconic Jordan sneaker.
Back in April, rumors began to circle in the sneaker- space that the Bred 85′ would return this Holiday season. After months of silence, official images have surfaced today of what, in fact, appears to be the returning Bred 85. Though the shoe may look similar to the one that released in February, the difference is in the details.
Technically speaking, the Bred 85′ pair releasing this Holiday season will not be a ‘restock’ of the momentous release from earlier this year. This Holiday releases is expected to feature special packaging. Also, the pair is releasing with additional extra-laces. Pictured above, is a set of laces with gold details. That pair is seemingly a nod to the anniversary of the NBA banning the Breds from the hardwood.
This Saturday, October 18th, will mark 41 years since that significant day in sneaker history. As a result, speculation has already began that the shoe will shock drop tomorrow, on the 18th, to celebrate that day in history.
Regardless, the SoleSavy DROPS app will be the best way to stay in the know involving this iconic sneaker’s impending return.
