Forty years since originally releasing, the UNC Air Jordan 1 High is returning this Summer.
This time, it will be part of the Reimagined Air Jordan line. Introduced in the Fall of 2022, the Reimagined line has reintroduced some fan-favorite Air Jordan’s. The idea, of course, being to put a twist on classic sneakers and to create a new chapter in the Jordan Brand’s lineage.

Modeled like the Chicago Reimagined that released in 2022, this year’s Reimagined Air Jordan 1 UNC will feature a vintage aesthetic. The sneaker will feature the same cracked leather throughout the sneaker, giving it the aged look mastered by the 2022 Chicago. The 2025 UNC Reimagined will also feature the aged midsole and outsole, as well as the beloved UNC blue details throughout the upper.
This will mark the third time an Air Jordan 1 High appears in a UNC colorway. First releasing in 1985- the sneaker last released in 2015. Ten years later, we are seeing the iconic colorway return in the popular Reimagined form.

Currently, the UNC Reimagined 1 is expected to drop in May of this year for $180. It is projected to be one of the most anticipated retroes from Jordan Brand in 2025.
