The ‘Colors be the Palette’ 991v2 Release this Month

The latest effort from Salehe Bembury and New Balance has a release date.

Known for their playful use of colors among their sneaker collaborations- Salehe and New Balance’s latest collaboration will be on the 991v2.

Introduced in late 2023, the 991v2 took the classic look of the already loved 991 and gave it a refresh. The reintroduction brought with it a new use of premium materials. Plus, it introduced modern technology to the sneaker that originally released in 2001. This includes a of full-length FuelCell cushioning, offering the latest in comfort from New Balance.

Bembury will be the latest to put their spin on the 991v2. As the name implies, Bembury threw as much of the color-wheel as tastefully possible. The upper is primarily dressed in a shades of purple. While shades of blue, green, and red make brief cameos throughout the sneaker.

This will mark the seventh sneaker Bembury has worked on with New Balance since beginning their partnership in 2020. The ‘Colors be the Palette’ 991v2 is a celebration of those efforts come to life. A five year partnership that looks to deliver another fan favorite sneaker.

The ‘Colors be the Palette’ 991v2 release via beaspunge.com on March 13th- at Noon EST. A wider release is expected via New Balance and New Balance accounts on a later date.
