After first premiering earlier this year, Nike has announced a June release date for its Space Hippie Collection. The four-pair lineup, which are named 01-04, are made from sustainable products, featuring a knitted material in the uppers, an embroidered orange Swoosh and a blue tint sole that’s made of Crater Foam to provide a full-length ZoomX insole for cushioning and responsiveness.
Check out more details regarding each sneaker, photos and prices below.
Nike Space Hippie 01 – June 11th – $130
The Space Hippie 01 features a low-cut shape and an intricate sole design as well as a lacing system that has yellow paracord laces that are intertwined between a single lace that sits on top of a white eye stay strip near the midfoot. White heel and tongue tabs (similar to the ones on the LeBron 15) are also placed on the sneaker.
Space Hippie 02 – June 11th – $150
The Space Hippie 02 boasts a chukka-like cut that is very minimal aside from its predecesor. While the sole design, heel and tongue tabs remain the same, the 02 is made of 90 percent polyester from plastic bottles, t-shirts and yarn scraps. The 02 has no laces and a larger Swoosh that goes from the ankle near the toe.
Nike Space Hippie 03 – June 11th – $180
The Space Hippie 03 is one of the most detailed sneakers of the group. It has a high-cut shape, FastFit lacing system that first debuted on the Air Jordan XX3 and is exposed right over the midfoot. A smaller orange and black Swoosh sits before the toes and orange and white pull tabs on the heel.
Nike Space Hippie 04 – Women’s – TBA
The Space Hippie 04 is releasing at a later date unlike the 01-03. The 04 goes back to a low-cut shape and its woven material and sole sport a light grey base. The Swoosh remains orange and is much smaller than the 01 and 02. It also has orange accents near the heel and inside the sneaker that sits under an exposed heel tab that hovers around the ankle.
