The PATTA & Nike Air Max 90 “Waves” Release June 23rd

The wave is about to reach the shore.

Introduced in 2021, the Patta “Waves” motif was a welcome rendition to the Dutch brand’s long tradition of working on the Air Max 1. In 2022, Patta released another round of “Waves” Air Max 1s, expanding the collection to a total of six pairs. Now, it seems a new Air Max model is getting the “Waves” treatment this month.

Though the Air Max 90 “Waves” collections have long leaked, Patta has finally began teasing the upcoming collaboration. ODUMODUBLVCK debuted the “Cyber” colorway in a performance in London in late May. The “Sapphire” pair will round out the collection that is slated for late this month.

Both pairs feature iconic colorblocking of Air Max 90s that are juxtaposed by the wave pattern among the sneaker’s mudguard. The branded Air Max window now features Patta branding, while metallic swooshes round out both of the sneakers.

Currently, the Patta and Nike Air Max 90 “Waves” and matching apparel are slated to release on June 23rd. Get your coffee ready, as the international release likely means an early morning for sneakerheads.
