The colorway that introduced the world to the Air Max 1000 is spinning the block, this time with a touch of green to get us into the Holiday spirit.
This latest colorway of the Air Max 1000 introduces hits of Atomic Green on the airbag. The release continues the progression of Nike’s first 3D-printed Air Max and builds on a growing series of Air Max 1000 colorways.

First unveiled at ComplexCon 2024, the Air Max 1000 was introduced as a future-facing interpretation of Air Max, reimagining the Air Max 1 through 3D printing. It marked the first time Air, Nike’s signature innovation, was used in a fully 3D-printed shoe, printed with Zellerfeld.
The use of 3D printing enabled the Air Max 1000’s contoured, sculptural design, which would not have been possible using traditional manufacturing techniques. Designed digitally and produced as a single printed form on Zellerfeld’s platform, the shoe delivers a new expression of Air where Nike’s imagination meets advanced creation capabilities.
Since its debut, the Air Max 1000 has expanded across multiple releases on Zellerfeld.com. That direction continued with the introduction of the Air Max 95000, as a more progressive application of computational design and 3D printing within the Air Max lineage. It’s an exciting moment for footwear, with Nike and Zellerfeld pushing what comes next into view.
This latest colorway scratches the itch of the coveted ‘Red’ colorway, all the while adding a playful touch of Atomic green into the mix. With the colors perfectly complementing other iconic Holiday sneakers, it would only make sense to release this pair ahead of Christmas. The next generation of Air Max is here, and Zellerfeld doesn’t appear to be slowing down any time soon.
The Air Max 1000 Red / Atomic Green will retail for $179 and will be available via a raffle exclusively on Zellerfeld.com. Registration opens on December 18th- winners will be notified on December 22nd, just in time for Christmas.
