The Whitaker Group Teamed Up With New Balance For A “Wilful Bias” 1906U Pack

The Whitaker Group has established itself as one of the premier retail parent companies in the United States and has had some of the best collaborations in recent years. While most people associate TWG collaborations with its longtime partners Nike and Jordan Brand, it kicked off a long-term partnership with New Balance last year. TWG is introducing the next chapter in its NB journey with a “Wilful Bias” 1906U Pack. The “Electric Teal” colorway features a Navy upper, synthetic and reflective materials, and Gulf Red and Olivine accents. The “Sand Dune” pair features the same materials with Rust Oxide upper and Washed Amber and Team Red accents.

In traditional TWG fashion, the collection was officially introduced with a Building Better, Together video that continues the narrative and characters featured in last year’s “Missing Pieces” New Balance 9060 pack. The story follows two young creatives on a journey to create a podcast. The new chapter sees the characters discovering The Collective on Tuckaseegee, TWG’s latest retail campus that features an APB store and the first black-woned skatepark. The theme of the film and release reflects on TWG and New Balance’s combined mission to create dedicated spaces for creatives, creators and entrepreneurs.

The TWG x New Balance 1906U “Willful Bias” launch journey kicks off with a General Raffle on the Social Status, APB, Prosper and A Ma Maniére, websites all starting on 7.8,. The TWG x New Balance 1906U “Willful Blia” in Electric Teal and Sand Dune will then officially launch on July 19th at 11AM EST online and in-store at Social Status, APB, Prosper and A Ma Maniére. Footwear is priced at $170 in Adult sizing ranging from Men’s 4/ Women’s 5.5 – Men’s 14/ Women’s 15.5. Registration for events and workshops that are happening alongside the release are open now.

Sole Savy is unreal! With a busy schedule it’s hard to keep up on shoes, and the group keeps me up to date on releases, tips on how to manually cop, and a marketplace with killer deals from fellow like minded collectors. It’s changed the sneaker game for me!

@SoleSavy is the truth. They've helped me cop kicks I never would've imagined getting at retail. Members always willing to assist on drops too. And most of all, a REAL community of REAL sneakerheads. These guys should be the gold standard for sneaker communities! #LifetimeMember

My membership paid for itself three fold by being solely responsible for my union 4’s, mesh sacai waffles, sacai blazers, court purple aj1s, glow in the dark yeezy 350s, travis scott lows (which I traded to get desert ore ow’s), air max 1 londons, bc3’s for way under retail etc.

Can't say enough about SS. The stellar help with copping shoes is a given but it's the community that makes it extra special. Hands down one of the best decisions I made as a wannabe sneakerhead.

The community of sneakerheads and resources available to help manually cop are great and really will help you get more Ws. The Zoom calls for hyped drops like Union Jordan 4 only adds to the camaraderie while providing real time instruction
