(UPDATE September 17th, 2020): Nike has released official images of the Kasina x Nike Dunk Low SP “80s Bus”. Scroll below for further images.
South Korean brand Kasina is the latest Asian boutique to collaborate with Nike on the beloved Dunk silhouette. Arriving in two distinct colorways, the Kasina x Nike Dunk Low SP will release September 18th in a Korean-exclusive “Road Sign” colorway followed by a regular release of the “80s Bus” colorway on September 25th.
Both pairs are cut in your standard Dunk Low SP shape but are constructed with unique materials and color-blocking for a distinct look. The Kasina-exclusive “Road Sign” pair features a highway sign hangtag in the same shade of Aqua blue as the shoe’s overlays while the “80s Bus” dons a steering wheel hangtag and a Navy/Mustard Yellow color scheme. The heel tabs, Swooshes, and overlays on both pairs are done in a shaggy suede and while the underlays are done in smooth, white leather. On “80s Bus”, you have your regular Nike branding on the heel and “Kasina” in Korean on each tongue tag. The “Road Sign” features the same Korean text tongue on the tongues but replaces the heels with “SEOUL” and “BUSAN” text on the left and right foot respectively as a nod to the Korean cities.
