Detailed Look at the UNDERCOVER x Nike Dunk High 1985 “Chaos”

Jun Takahashi’s UNDERCOVER label continues its partnership with the Swoosh. First seen during the Paris Fashion Week FW21 show, the UNDERCOVER x Nike Dunk High raised eyebrows and piqued interest. More than a year later and the Dunk High is finally releasing.

Utilizing the original Dunk High shape from 1985, the upcoming UNDERCOVER x Nike Dunk High 1985 “Chaos” is built with a tumbled leather upper draped in all-black down to the outsole while UNDERCOVER’s “CHAOS” motif appears in white on the left heel with “GLEICHGEWICHT,” German for “BALANCE,” landing on the right heel. “NEUES LEBEN” and “NEUER LÄRM,” which loosely translate to “NEW LIFE” and “NEW NOSIE,” arrive on the shoes’ collars. A white speckled treatment splatters the midsole. Cobranded tongue tags and insoles bring it all together.

The UNDERCOVER x Nike Dunk High 1985 “Chaos” releases on February 28 at select retailers, including NakedCPH.com. A SNKRS release has not been announced. As always, our sneaker monitors and release day strategy will have members ready for drop day.
