What if Luka Doncic went to college instead of going pro as a teenager? He certainly would have been recruited by the University of North Carolina. While we’ll never know what could have been if Luka had gone the traditional basketball route, we at least know what his signature sneakers look like with a Tarheel colorway. Today, the UNC men’s basketball team is taking on their rival, Duke Blue Devils, and Jordan Brand made them a special PE (player exclusive) colorway of the Luka 2. The colorway features an all-patent leather upper with past and present UNC logos visible through the translucent outsole. Unlike most PEs, Luka and UNC fans will actually get an opportunity to get their hands on this pair, as it will go to retail at a later date. Luka will also be honoring the historic rivalry and showing his love to Jordan Brand’s premiere university by wearing the same pair in his game vs. the Milwaukee Bucks today.
