In 2022, we debuted COLLECT, our marketplace to buy, sell, trade, and showcase sneakers with no fees. As COLLECT grew, we’ve seen our members adopt the platform and expand their COLLECTions. As we wrap up the year, we’re taking a look back on what our members bought and sold over the past few months.
Our top ten list includes a lot of heavy hitters like the appropriately named Concepts x Air Max One on the list and some surprises like the Air Jordan 2 x Maison Chateau Rouge, which gained a lot of traction in the revival year of the AJ2. In fact, two of the top ten sneakers on the list are Air Jordan 2s signifying a rise in popularity for Mike’s oft-underlooked sneaker.
The make-up of the marketplace on COLLECT is as varied as our members, but there are some standouts. Jordan Brand makes up nearly 35% of COLLECT, while Nike comes in at 34% and adidas at 21%. COLLECT is all about staying true to the sneakerhead who buys kicks to wear them, so we’ve built a marketplace without all those exorbitant fees that could hinder you from copping your potential grail. Fees are a major part of other marketplaces, and by not charging fees, our members have saved $25,725 in fees from the leading marketplace.
COLLECT is only going to grow more with a public launch on the horizon.
