New Balance Announces the Retro-Inspired XC-72

New Balance continues to tap into its rich heritage. Following the success of the 327 and the 237, the Boston-based brand goes into its vault once more with the XC-72. Initially seen through the Casablanca x New Balance XC-72 collection, the latest retro-turned-modern silhouette is arriving for all to enjoy later this fall.

Sticking to the New Balance’s dedication to quality and comfort, the XC-72 also takes design elements from timeless works of art outside of sneakers with the shoe’s squared toe, inspired by 1970s concept car designs. The XC-72 also furthers NB’s sustainability commitment with the shoe’s use of chrome-free leather and suede.

The unisex New Balance XC-72 releases on September 4 on NewBalance.com and through select retailers. As always, our sneaker monitors and release day strategy will have members ready for drop day.
