In 2007, Nike released its first-ever Nike N7 model with the Nike Air Native N7. Since then, the Nike N7 collection has laced a plethora of models that are rooted in celebrating and honoring Native Americans all over.
The Nike N7 Collection originates from the same communities that shaped Indigenous beacons Sam McCracken, Brooke Simpson, and Madison Hammond, who hail from the Fort Peck Assiniboine and Sioux Tribes, Haliwa-Saponi Tribe, and Navajo and San Felipe Pueblo. This collection honors the athletes, creators, and cultural game-changers of the seven generations. – Nike
From an Air Max 1 to the KD 4, the annual Nike N7 is a longstanding tradition that excites the sneaker community while supporting the N7 Fund. The latest collection pays homage to the Indigenous defense of Mother Earth’s biodiversity, with materials like natural fibers and cork across an array of patterns and textures.
With the new year right around the corner, images of the 2022 Nike N7 collection are trickling in. The upcoming Nike Air Force 1 Low N7 “Woven Cork” has surfaced. The woven cork panels accentuate the earth-toned base as the N7 logo resides on the shoe’s tongue.
A release date for the Nike Air Force 1 Low N7 “Woven Cork” has not been announced. However, the pair is expected to release on SNKRS and select retailers in Spring 2022. As always, our sneaker monitors and release day strategy will have members ready for drop day.
