Jordan Brand has more stories on the way through the Air Jordan 1. Since its release in 1985, Michael Jordan’s first signature shoe has been a canvas for his Airness, his legacy, and his undeniable achievements. Jordan Brand is continuing that very tradition with the latest colorway.
During his days on Chapel Hill, MJ joined Omega Psi Phi — the first fraternal organization at a historically Black university, founded on November 17, 1911. Jordan Brand pays tribute to the Ques with the upcoming Air Jordan 1 High OG “Brotherhood” colorway. The upcoming AJ1 dons Omega Psi Phi’s colors as gold and purple land on the silhouette. With a primarily white leather base, the gold and purple overlays and details from the tongue tag to the outsole serve as the perfect homage to his Airness’ college days as well as the brotherhood he’s a part of.
The Air Jordan 1 High OG “Brotherhood” releases on February 24 for $170 on SNKRS and select retailers. As always, our sneaker monitors and release day strategy will have members ready for drop day.
