Kanye West and his partnership with the Three Stripes have more on the way this year. After a heavy dosage of drops in December and a somewhat busy January, the adidas Yeezy line is picking things up where they left off.
While we wait for DONDA 2, a new colorway of the adidas Yeezy Boost 350 V2 CMPCT has emerged. The upcoming adidas Yeezy Boost 350 V2 CMPCT “Slate Red” bodes similarities to the legendary “Red October” colorway, back when Kanye and Nike were cooking. Since then, the all-red look has been nearly untouched with the Foam Runner “Vermillion” and now 350 V2 CMPCT taking on the monochromatic look.
Like previous 350 V2 CMPCT colorways, the upcoming “Slate Red” includes the signature sock-like upper, built with a higher ankle collar and a bungee-style lacing system. The all-red hue adorns the Primeknit upper and the midsole, which holds the Boost tech intact.
The adidas Yeezy Boost 350 V2 CMPCT “Slate Red” releases for $220 on adidas.com/Yeezy and select retailers on February 17. As always, our sneaker monitors and release day strategy will have members ready for drop day.
