Nike is getting festive in celebration of the Chinese New Year. With an Air Jordan 6 Low, an Air Jordan 1 Low OG, and a Grade School-exclusive Nike Dunk Low, it’s evident that the Year of the Tiger is an important one for the Swoosh.
Another CNY-themed colorway has surfaced, this time on the Nike Dunk High. The upcoming Nike Dunk High “Year of the Tiger” resembles the GS Dunk Low with its colorblocking & execution, details, and more.
The Dunk High is built with a black and grey suede base with traditional Chinese textile print on the Swoosh and ankle flap. In addition, tiger stripes are etched onto the heels and translucent outsole, coated in an orange hue. Mini gold Swooshes, a satin lining, Chinese characters on the toe box are added to the pair for an elevated look. Embroidered details land on the Swoosh, overlays, and the tongue flap, with three sycee hats underneath. A special box and lux towel accompany the colorway.
The Nike Dunk High “Year of the Tiger” is expected to release soon on SNKRS and select retailers. A price point has not been confirmed. As always, our sneaker monitors and release day strategy will have members ready for drop day.
