The Trinidad Jame$ x Hommewrk x Saucony Jazz 81 Goes “Carnival Black”

Trinidad Jame$ and Saucony are delivering another hit with the latest Saucony Jazz 81 collab.

Following the Trinidadian heritage-inspired “Sorrel Red” colorway, the upcoming Trinidad Jame$ x Hommewrk x Saucony Jazz 81 “Carnival Black” colorway connects the artist’s sneaker journey and his roots.

The “Carnival Black” version draws inspiration from Jame$’ first pair of sneakers he owned as an immigrant moving to America. The shoe’s all-black upper is met with a multicolored outsole that glows in the dark in the three different hues.

“Carnival is an homage to the rich culture of Trinidad and Tobago,” Trinidad Jame$ said. “The second color to my collaboration with Saucony is well-timed to launch during Black History Month. A perfect time to celebrate and ‘Do Your Hommewrk’ on another beautiful piece of my country’s history and heritage.”

The Trinidad Jame$ x Hommewrk x Saucony Jazz 81 “Carnival Black” releases for $110 on 10, will launch at Hommewrk on February 16 on Hommewrk.com, and a wider release will take place on February 18 on Saucony.com and select retailers. As always, our sneaker monitors and release day strategy will have members ready for drop day.
