The Air Jordan 5 Goes to School with Upcoming “UNC” Colorway

Jordan Brand and the UNC color combination go hand-in-hand. While “Chicago”-themed colorways are always in rotation, Michael Jordan’s alma mater is equally important to the Jumpman legacy.

The brand continues its use of the collegiate colorway with an all-new take on the Air Jordan 5. The upcoming Air Jordan 5 “UNC” features the signature Tar Heel blue on the suede upper with black and white details to match. Like previous collegiate-themed releases, the “UNC” AJ5 will feature a retro jersey tag on the heel. “Heart” and “Soul” patches appear stitched on the inner tongue which along with the sockliner features a velvet, textured pattern.

The Air Jordan 5 “UNC” releases on March 4 for $225 on SNKRS and select retailers.
