After over a year of rumors, it appears we have an official look at the Nike SB x Air Jordan 4. The new makeup of the iconic silhouette looks like a green version of the classic Military Blue colorway.
Skateboarding and Jordans have always crossed paths before. From AJ1s being the go-to silhouette for skaters to the likes of Lance Mountain getting his own collaborative Air Jordan, skating and Jordan Brand have more in common than one might think.
In 2019, Jordan Brand and Nike SB released a series of Nike SB x Air Jordan 1 Highs and Lows celebrating the historic lines. The partnership will continue in 2023 as Nike SB and Jordan Brand link up on the Air Jordan 4. Although no images have surfaced, the Nike SB x Air Jordan 4 will look similar to the “Black Cat” Air Jordan 4 with Nike SB heel branding instead of its signature Nike Air heel tab.
The release date is expected for March 20, 2023, at $225. We expect the pair to release at select Nike SB retailers and SNKRS at some point in 2023. As always, our sneaker monitors and release day strategy will have members ready for drop day.
