Nike has been focused on sustainability efforts for some time, with their “Move to Zero” campaign in full bloom. The first performance model resulting from the initiative was the popular Nike Cosmic Unity. Nike is following it up with the Nike Cosmic Unity 2, made of similarly recycled materials.
The off-white upper is comprised of lightweight mesh and recycled yarn, while the ankle collar features a neoprene construction. A full-length Air Zoom Strobel unit offers explosiveness throughout the entire foot. The upper’s wavy design is also on the outsole and 002 embossed on the toe of the outsole, symbolizing the second iteration of the sneaker. An enlarged, textured Swoosh appears on the lateral side, while a smaller, more muted Swoosh appears on the medial area. The muted hints of pink and green that appear on the Nike branding on the pull tabs found on the tongue and heel bring the look together.
Look for the Nike Cosmic Unity 2 to release soon via Nike. As always, our sneaker monitors and release day strategy will prepare members for drop day.
