Since His Airness first touched the court in his signature sneaker in 1985, the Air Jordan 1 has been one of the most malleable sneakers in Nike’s arsenal. It has been made available in various heights and materials and is one of the most recognizable and remixable silhouettes.
One of these new versions of the sneaker, the Air Jordan 1 Utility, with its stash pockets on the sides and pouch on the heel, is getting a colorway to match to Quai 54 collection. Quai 54 is an annual streetball tournament in Paris, France, at the world-famous Eiffel Tower sponsored by Jordan Brand, which has delivered a myriad of great colorways.
This year’s Quai 54 theme is inspired by traditional West African dyers that evokes a pinstripe visual along with various symbols throughout the silhouette. The sneaker features a blue base covered by white leather overlays. The aforementioned pouch on the heel features Jordan-inspired and traditional West African graphics.
Accents of orange on the co-branded tongue and the outsole complete the look. The Air Jordan 1 Utility drops on August 30 via SNKRS and select retailers. The retail price is set at $190. As always, our sneaker monitors and release day strategy will have members ready for drop day.
