RTFKT Cryptokicks iRL Release Info

RTFKT, the web3 brand that became a part of the Nike team last year, is looking to expand into the offline world. Images obtained by NiceKicks look to show that RTFKT and Nike are gearing up for another launch. RTFKT and Nike recently joined forces for their CloneX collection, including designs from the legendary Takashi Murakami. The CloneX collection looks to be just the tip of the iceberg.

Despite using the Air Force 1 silhouette for their CloneX collection, this upcoming sneaker is an entirely new build using Nike’s electronic lacing Adapt technology. The silhouette looks similar to the Nike PG 1 with two enlarged crossing straps. The sneaker’s gray build and blue speckled midsole invoke the classic Nike Air Mag from Back to the Future look. Other details include binary code on the heel counter as a nod to their web3 beginnings and “CRYPTOKICKS iRL” and “RTFKT” near the toe box.

The upcoming RTFKT Cryptokicks iRL features a wealth of innovative technology including Nike’s self-lacing ADAPT technology, enhanced lighting, haptic feedback, gesture control, walk detection, app connectivity and much more. The sneaker pairs via Bluetooth to the Cryptokicks iRL app for an interconnected crypto experience.

The app also allows users to customize the sneakers lights including turning them off entirely. The sneaker comes with a wireless adapter for charging the sneakers as well as being equipped with RTFKT’s WM NFC chip that allows for NFC-NFT linking and NFC-NFT authentication. The upcoming sneaker comes in four colorways including “BLACKOUT,” an entirely black option, “ICE” a white colorway white teal blue speckles to match the icy translucent outsole, “STONE,” which features a tan build with blue speckles on the midsole, and a glitched out colorway with iridescent straps called “SPACE MATTER.”

Sole Savy is unreal! With a busy schedule it’s hard to keep up on shoes, and the group keeps me up to date on releases, tips on how to manually cop, and a marketplace with killer deals from fellow like minded collectors. It’s changed the sneaker game for me!

@SoleSavy is the truth. They've helped me cop kicks I never would've imagined getting at retail. Members always willing to assist on drops too. And most of all, a REAL community of REAL sneakerheads. These guys should be the gold standard for sneaker communities! #LifetimeMember

My membership paid for itself three fold by being solely responsible for my union 4’s, mesh sacai waffles, sacai blazers, court purple aj1s, glow in the dark yeezy 350s, travis scott lows (which I traded to get desert ore ow’s), air max 1 londons, bc3’s for way under retail etc.

Can't say enough about SS. The stellar help with copping shoes is a given but it's the community that makes it extra special. Hands down one of the best decisions I made as a wannabe sneakerhead.

The community of sneakerheads and resources available to help manually cop are great and really will help you get more Ws. The Zoom calls for hyped drops like Union Jordan 4 only adds to the camaraderie while providing real time instruction
