As the King approaches his 20th NBA season, his signature shoe has undergone a radical change. While LeBron has typically opted for heavier midcut silhouettes, he’s made the switch to a lowcut build for the new Nike LeBron 20. When introducing the model, LeBron and the design team said they wanted a shoe inspired by the next generation of basketball players so it’s only right for the King to kick things off with a GS colorway.
This upcoming colorway features a bold teal knit upper with double-stacked gold and yellow swooshes on the lateral side. The tongue, eyelets, sockliner, and laces are dressed in neon pink, and underfoot the sole features a hint of mint green on the outsole. The look is completed by LeBron branding on the heel and tongue. Altogether the colorway bears much resemblance to the iconic Pokemon Venasaur from Pokemon Red and Blue. The Nike LeBron 20 GS “Laser Blue” is set to release soon via Nike and select retailers. A retail price has been set at $160.
