Sneaker Release Recap September 25 – October 1

Just because it’s the end of the summer doesn’t mean that the heat is over. Just this week we got a new collaboration between Patta and New Balance with a tree-inspired take on the 990v3, though it was pushed back on the SNKRS app Jordan Brand gave us an Air Jordan 4 similar to the extremely rare Eminem and Carhartt collaboration, and the Tom Sach’s NikeCraft General Purpose Shoe arrived at Kohl’s around America. Take a look at all the releases and restocks from the last week.

FCFS (first come, first serve) Release Recap

  • Air Jordan 1 Low UNC: Stock was lower than most Jordan drops as most boutiques had under 100 pairs. Early morning releases at Rule of Next, Undefeated, and Creme were the best options to cop this pair.
  • New Balance 2002r ‘Redefined Future’ Pack at Extra Butter: First release of this pack in North America. hCaptcha was used and made for a straightforward cop of either of the 3 colorways. Orange was the first to sell out after 3 minutes but the Mirage Grey and Navy colorways are still in stock in select sizes
  • Patta x New Balance 990 v3 ‘Keep Your Family Close’: Dropped on a website specific to this release, SoleSavy members were provided a link to the website 25 minutes early. Some collaboration New Balance x Patta apparel dropped with the shoes. One of the rare times a collaboration New Balance drop was available in full family sizing. Once the website opened, checkouts were pretty smooth with no queue times leading to a pretty straightforward cop. Sizes still available in stock.
  • Air Jordan 4 ‘Black and Light Steel’: Stocked a bit lower than what we’ve been seeing on Jordan releases over the last little bit. Some stores only received partial shipments and the SNKRS release was delayed to October 5th. The most stock stores received of men’s sizing was around 400 pairs. Sell out times across all stores averaged 30 seconds. SoleSavy members will be able to track and try to catch any of the late shipments with Drop Alerts

quotes

Sole Savy is unreal! With a busy schedule it’s hard to keep up on shoes, and the group keeps me up to date on releases, tips on how to manually cop, and a marketplace with killer deals from fellow like minded collectors. It’s changed the sneaker game for me!

@SoleSavy is the truth. They've helped me cop kicks I never would've imagined getting at retail. Members always willing to assist on drops too. And most of all, a REAL community of REAL sneakerheads. These guys should be the gold standard for sneaker communities! #LifetimeMember

My membership paid for itself three fold by being solely responsible for my union 4’s, mesh sacai waffles, sacai blazers, court purple aj1s, glow in the dark yeezy 350s, travis scott lows (which I traded to get desert ore ow’s), air max 1 londons, bc3’s for way under retail etc.

Can't say enough about SS. The stellar help with copping shoes is a given but it's the community that makes it extra special. Hands down one of the best decisions I made as a wannabe sneakerhead.

The community of sneakerheads and resources available to help manually cop are great and really will help you get more Ws. The Zoom calls for hyped drops like Union Jordan 4 only adds to the camaraderie while providing real time instruction
