2022 marked the 15th anniversary of Boston-based brand Bodega and they’ve been celebrating the event with a long list of collaborations. To end the year, the brand is once again linking up with another Boston-based staple in New Balance for the second time this year. Bodega is taking on the rising New Balance 9060 with a new colorway entitled “Age of Discovery” which aims to “blend yesterday’s artifacts and tomorrow’s vision into a sneaker of today, chock full of revelations.”

The sneaker features a mesh base with a blend of suede overlays. The mesh base comes dressed in a light blue with certain portions of the overlays coming in a slightly darker shade. Other details include a shaggy tan suede on the tongue, heel, and tiny portions of the heel counter. The look is completed with brown laces and the unique sole with ABZORB and SBS-equipped sole units. Cementing the theme of discovery, the pair comes packaged in a cobranded box with renaissance-style paintings featuring a group of mythological figures, including a centaur. The Bodega x New Balance 9060 “Age of Discovery” releases on December 10 via Bodega. The retail price has been set at $180.
