Former University of Oregon football captain and Jordan Brand product marketing legend Garren Strong is launching a book celebrating the legendary football program called “Innovation University.” The premium, hardbound book clock in at 460 pages long and tells the story of the Oregon Ducks football team and the rise of one of the most forward-thinking football teams in history. Strong, who played wide receiver for the squad from 2003-2007, said that there’s so much more than meets the eye when it comes to the storied program.

“To the casual observer, Oregon Football is a story about bright uniforms and big offense,” Strong said.“But this story is not about one coach, offensive scheme, or audacious uniform. It’s a perfect storm of unique influences that launched a previously unremarkable program into the national spotlight.”

Innovation University taps some of the most prominent figures including Phil Knight, Tinker Hatfield, Coach Mike Bellotti, Coach Chip Kelly, Marcus Mariota, Jonathan Stewart, LaMichael James, Kenjon Barner, TJ Ward, Yogi Roth, James Whitner, Gentry Humphrey and PJ Tucker.

Ready for pre-order startinng Nov. 28, three versions of the book will be available for purchase. The Elite versions will be extremely limited with just 100 units of each book, individually numbered, priced at $500. The Standard version will be available online and at retail for $220. The Elite versions come with an exclusive NFT drop. The exclusive NFT will be minted, launched and sent to each owner, and will provide access to exclusive product drops, event access, content and giveaways. The NFT will be launched and minted in Spring of 2023.
