As the release for Tiffany & Co. x Nike Air Force 1 “1837” draws near, the jewelry company has revealed the Friends and Family version of their blockbuster sneaker.
The ultra-exclusive variant sees the colorway flipped as Tiffany Blue takes over the majority of the upper and outsole. Black now appears on the eyestay, tongue, laces and mustache. The colors’ respective materials carry over from the general release version, meaning pebbled leather takes over with suede accenting.
This inverted color scheme is closer to the iconic (unofficial) Tiffany Dunk that released in 2005 and thus all the more appealing to sneakerheads versed in their history. Unfortunately, the chances of actually landing a pair are slim and will involve hoping that friends or family part with their pair for a likely exorbitant price.
The version of the Tiffany Air Force 1 intended for public consumption is slated to release March 7 through the SNKRS app, with retail set at $400. Download the DROPS by SoleSavy app to keep up on all the sneaker news you need to know, and check out more photos of the F&F AF1 below.
