1985 brought both the Air Jordan 1 and Nike Dunk into the world, perhaps the two most pivotal sneakers of all-time. One will soon borrow from the other, as the Dunk Low takes on a “Chicago Split” color scheme.
The forthcoming Dunk Low is a near copy of the Air Jordan 1 “Chicago” arrangement with a few twists. The Swoosh is split into black and white along the foxing, and the effect repeats on the outsole. Nike branding has also been split into two halves on the mustache, tongue tag, and insole with both Nike’s older script and its newer all-caps, sans-serif mark. The tongue tag also appears in two slightly different colors: sail for the vintage half and a crisp white on the other.
Previous images of the Dunk Low “Chicago 1” have been leaking for some time, and the sneaker is reportedly slated for release during spring/summer 2023 for $110. Official images mean the drop should be sooner than later, so download the DROPS by SoleSavy app as we provide you with any updates.
