Awake NY and Jordan Brand Have A Nike Air Ship Collab

UPDATE 2/25/2024: Awake NY continues to tease its Jordan Air Ship collaboration and we now have a release date of March 9.

UPDATE 12/20/2023: While hosting the Jordan Retro Preview on SNKRS Live, Awake NY’s Brand Director Hugo Mendoza confirmed the collaboration between the New York brand and Jumpman for Spring 2024. No footwear from the collaboration was previewed, but Mendoza wore an Awake NY x Jordan destroyer jacket.

Since being reintroduced in 2020, the Nike Air Ship has remained a consistent silhouette in Jordan Brand’s release strategy. After a successful “Every Game” release, the Jumpman is now teaming up with Awake NY for a new spin on the Air Ship. Subtly unveiled at the grand opening of Awake NY’s new flagship location in Lower Manhattan, the pair is dressed in mismatched red and blue snakeskin on the color and Swoosh outline, a silver Swoosh, and aged details like a yellowed midsole and faded red outsole. The brand’s signature “A” is visible as well. The two pairs displayed are both right shoes, leaving it a mystery whether it is a mismatched colorway or two separate pairs.

While release info is not available, Awake NY may be joining the likes of Union Los Angeles and Supreme as the next Jordan Brand streetwear collaborator. And with Supreme alum Angelo Baque leading, this looks like Jordan Brand’s next big collaboration hit. Stay tuned for more information as details on this partnership develop.
