UPDATE February 12, 2024: After initially scheduled to land this week, the ’85 “Metallic Burgundy” Air Jordan 1 has been moved to this summer in North America.
Nike dug deep in the vault for the latest ’85’ Air Jordan 1 High retro release. Emerging from the archives is the never before retro’d “Metallic Burgundy” from the 1980s. Like he did with the “Metallic Blue” low AJ1s, Hiroshi Fujiwara took to Instagram to give us a first look. The ’85’ version of the AJ1 was launched in 2019 and has become a tradition every February. Like previous colorways, the “Metallic Burgundy” will feature OG specs like firmer leather, a wider toe box, and a taller height. It’s expected to release on February 16 for $200.
Pairs of past ’85’ Air Jordan 1 releases are available for retail or less on the COLLECT By SoleSavy app.
