Foot Locker has officially relaunched its FLX Rewards Program, adding new perks and benefits for sneakerheads. The new program adds increased perks, discounts, and customer support for shoppers. Its system has been simplified to feature three core tiers: Xtra Savings, Xtra Access, and Xtra Perks. For savings, Foot Locker customers can now redeem points (100 points per $1 spent) for FLX Cash, providing discounts of $5, $10, or $20 off. On the access front, shoppers will receive exclusive opportunities like Launch Reservations and exclusive events. FLX perks have been revamped to include free shipping with no minimums, free product returns, and an upgraded birthday gift.
The change follows a pilot in Canada where Foot Locker saw increased engagement with first-time redeemers, higher average order values, higher units per transaction, and higher trip frequency. “Our enhanced FLX Rewards program represents a significant step in providing a seamless shopping experience for sneaker enthusiasts. Aligned with our Lace Up Plan, we believe this initiative strengthens our customer relationships and cements Foot Locker’s position as a leading omnichannel retailer,” said Mary Dillon, Foot Locker, Inc. president and CEO.
Foot Locker also shared a redesign coming to its app later this year. The new version will feature real-time launch updates via a “Heat Monitor” that tracks and previews new product launches, upgraded search and filtering capabilities, and streamlined sign-in with biometric authentication.
