AWAKE NY Teases their Upcoming Air Jordan Five

Awake New York and Air Jordan Brand are back.

After kicking off their partnership last year- the partnership will return on the Air Jordan Five.

Though rumors have been circling for months- today Awake NY has revealed the sneaker via their Instagram in a teaser for their upcoming Spring 2025 Season.

The sneaker appears in the classic color-blocking of the Fire Red Five, but with a twist suited for the incoming season. Instead the traditional white leather we are used to with the Fire Red, Awake’s spin will be dressed in an Arctic Pink. Another familiar detail is the infamous “23” stitching on the heel. First making an appearance on the 1990 Fire Red pair, the stitched number will playfully be replaced with the NY acronym on the right sneaker.

The most bold detail of all, though, is Awake’s “a” logo being featured on the side netting of the upper. Known as one of the most popular details of the Air Jordan 5, the netting window is rarely modified. The upcoming Awake NY Five will sit among beloved pairs- like the BIN23 Fives and the OFF Whites collaborations- to feature an iconic modification to the side netting.

It is heavily rumored that a second colorway will release in the collection. The collaboration will, seemingly, release this Spring season. In the mean time, we will await Awake’s incoming storytelling and roll out.
