Upcoming Off-White™ x Nike Air Rubber Dunk Appears in ‘University Gold’ Colorway

We now have a closer look at an another Off-White™ x Nike Air Rubber Dunk colorway, this time in an eye-catching ‘University Gold’ treatment. Unlike its black and neon green counterpart, this Rubber Dunk sees Virgil Abloh applying a tonal approach to the 90s/2000s-inspired skate shoe. By taking attention away from individual accents, the Off-White™ x Nike Air Rubber Dunk ‘University Gold’ becomes, shockingly enough, a far more subtle sneaker to pull off than the OG.

By blending different shades of orange and yellow together, the signature Off-White™ orange tag on the Swoosh becomes a hidden detail rather than a signature attraction. The metallic sheen of the outer caging is now far more noticeable; its curved lines adding a nice flare to the silhouette.

These colorful elements, combined with Dunk midsole + exposed Air unit makes the Off-White™ x Nike Air Rubber Dunk ‘University Gold’ a great hybrid between well-equipped skate shoe and modern statement piece.
