The first Air Jordan 1 drop of May sees the Jumpman making a return to the ever-popular ‘Royal’ colorway, with some new changes. Dubbed the Air Jordan 1 ‘Game Royal’, this Royal Blue/Black/White sneaker drops May 9th.
Unlike its most recent counterpart, the 2018 Jordan 1 ‘Game Royal’, the 2020 iteration uses a far darker, more traditional shade of blue throughout the upper. Implemented only on the toebox and heel collar, the shade of blue used here is far more reminiscent of the 2017 model and the infamous fragment Design Jordan 1s. Your standard Smooth, black leather is used on the mudguard, lace stays, lace flaps, and heel. Black leather on the heel of a Jordan 1 Royal has yet to be done, making this release all the more special. A white Jordan Wings logo completes the look.
Whether you’re looking for an affordable Fragment AJ1 replacement or just love Royal Blue Jordans in general, a SoleSavy membership will give you all the tools you need to help you cop these for retail.
