Today, House of Hoops by Foot Locker, Nike, and Jordan Brand has revealed three new sneakers created in conjunction with the NBA’s Luka Dončić, Ben Simmons, De’Aaron Fox, and Brittney Griner inspired by each player’s warmup routines. The sneakers include an Air Jordan 1 Mid, Nike Air Force 1, and Nike Blazer Mid ’77.
For Luka Dončić, guard of the Dallas Mavericks, his sneaker is the Air Jordan 1 Mid ‘Mindfulness’. The AJ 1 Mid ‘Mindfulness’ is inspired by meditation and relaxation, with the phrases “Breathe & Center” and “Center & Breathe” displayed in opaque, silver text across each heel cup. The sneaker features an all-white upper with Dallas Mavericks’ signature shades of purple and green adorning each Swoosh and midsole in an alternating, mismatched set. These will release April 30th at House of Hoops by Footlocker, Nike.com, and footlocker.com.
De’Aaron Fox, point guard of the Sacramento Kings, and Brittney Griner, center for the Phoneix Mercury, worked together on the Nike Air Force 1 ‘Music’. This AF1 comes in an all-white upper with a purple tread and features illustrations of acoustic waveforms in various shades of Neptune Green and Black on the Swooshes and heel tabs, while other waveforms done in red and orange adorn the forefoot and sock liner. All these elements are meant to highlight the players’ pregame music listening rituals. These AF1s will drop These will drop May 14th only at House of Hoops by Footlocker, and footlocker.com.
Finally, guard Ben Simmons of the Philadelphia 76ers is behind the Nike Blazer Mid ’77 ‘Motivation’. Simmons’ sneaker comes in cracked grey leather on the upper and equally distressed yellow swooshes, all atop a dark brown midsole and outsole intended to replicate the look of classic, game-worn, hightop basketball sneakers of the 70s. A basketball + banner illustration adorns the posterior lateral portions of each sneaker, each banner reading “Heart in the Game” and “Pride & Passion” respectively. Finally, the words “Dedication” and “Motivation” are printed in debossed lettering across the dark brown heel tabs. Simmon’s contribution to the Pregame Pack is slated for a May 21st release only at House of Hoops by Footlocker, and footlocker.com.
